Full Job Description

Full-Charge Bookkeeper (Confidential Financial Operations)

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Full-Charge Bookkeeper with a minimum of two years of experience in business banking and financial accounting. This role requires a professional who has a proven track record of handling sensitive financial information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.

Confidentiality & Trust
This position involves access to critical financial data and business operations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate prior experience managing confidential financial matters and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. A strong ethical foundation and commitment to safeguarding sensitive information are essential.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online is required.
Hands-on experience with financial transactions, account reconciliations, and general ledger management
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proven ability to manage confidential financial records with discretion

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
Manage cash flow, expense tracking, journal entries, and general ledger analysis
Perform and maintain accurate bank, vendor, and credit card reconciliations (daily, weekly, and monthly)
Process bi-weekly payroll, including 401(k) contributions
Prepare and submit sales tax filings and other required business tax payments
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all financial processes

Additional Qualifications

Minimum of two years of full-charge bookkeeping experience preferred
General office knowledge required; bilingual is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality standards
