Restaurant POS Consultant (Training & Install – Travel Role) – Bilingual

This is a great opportunity for restaurant professionals looking to transition into a higher-growth, technology-focused career.

About the Role

We’re looking for a bilingual restaurant professional ready to step out of day-to-day operations and into a hands-on consulting role.

In this role, you’ll travel to restaurants, lead system setups, and train staff—owning each job from setup through a successful go-live.

This is not a desk job. You’ll work in live restaurant environments, both on-site and remotely, ensuring teams successfully launch and operate their systems from day one. You’ll often be working under time pressure, so staying calm, organized, and solution-focused is critical.

What You’ll Do

Travel to restaurant locations (local + nationwide, all expenses covered)
Set up and configure POS systems (terminals, printers, handhelds, kitchen displays)
Lead structured training sessions for managers and staff (in-person and remote)
Support go-live and troubleshoot issues in real time
Conduct remote training sessions and system walkthroughs via video calls
Communicate updates clearly with clients and your team
Document all work performed, issues encountered, and resolutions accurately
Assist with training new team members as needed

You can walk into a restaurant and confidently lead an installation and training from start to finish
You can troubleshoot issues (hardware, network, or software) in real time
You can train staff of all skill levels and ensure they can confidently operate the system
You communicate clearly with both restaurant teams and internal stakeholders
You take full ownership of each job and follow through until completion
You handle unexpected issues calmly and keep the job moving forward without losing control of the situation

Who This Is For

This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership, solve problems, and grow into a technical consulting role:

Has worked in restaurants and wants to transition into a more technical, higher-growth role
Is confident speaking with customers and leading training sessions (both in-person and remote)
Can work independently without constant supervision
Is organized and communicates clearly across phone, text, email, and video
Takes ownership and follows through on tasks
Is comfortable figuring things out and making decisions when something doesn’t go as planned
Is comfortable communicating professionally in both English and Spanish with restaurant staff and customers

Requirements

Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
At least 1 year of restaurant experience (front-of-house preferred)
Willing to travel frequently (multi-day trips; travel expenses fully covered)
Reliable transportation
Comfortable working with technology and troubleshooting basic issues (Wi-Fi, printers, POS devices) in real-world environments
Strong communication and professionalism

You don’t need to be highly technical—we will train you. You just need to be comfortable learning and problem-solving.

You’ll be supported by a team and clear processes—you won’t be left to figure everything out on your own. At the same time, you’ll be expected to take ownership of your work and continuously improve as you gain experience.

Nice to Have

Leadership experience (shift lead, trainer, supervisor)
Experience training staff (in-person or remotely)
POS system experience
Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi, printers, or networking

Compensation & Benefits

$18/hour during training and ramp-up period (up to 90 days)
Performance-based increases to $20–$25/hour as you begin independently handling installs and training
Strong performers often reach higher pay within the first 60–90 days as they demonstrate independence and consistency
