Lead Restoration Technician - Healthcare & Commercial

About NLR

Next Level Restoration is a certified South Florida restoration contractor specializing in water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire and smoke restoration. We hold SDVOSB and SBE certifications. We are building our healthcare remediation division and looking for a lead technician who can handle the full range of our work - from residential and commercial projects to healthcare facility assignments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Restoration Technician with a focus on healthcare environments. In this vital role you will lead restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation within healthcare facilities and across all property types. Your expertise will ensure that sensitive environments are restored efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

We are building our healthcare remediation division from the ground up and this is a ground-floor opportunity. The right candidate will grow with it. Field leadership and project coordination come with the role from day one, and demonstrated performance opens a direct path to Project Manager - we promote from within and we are building the team that will run our healthcare division long term.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation across residential, commercial, and healthcare facilities
Assess job sites thoroughly to determine scope of work, required tools, and safety protocols
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during restoration tasks
Coordinate with team members to execute restoration activities including demolition, cleaning, and construction repairs
Ensure compliance with industry standards and infection-control requirements on healthcare facility assignments
Manage project timelines, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion
Communicate clearly with clients, healthcare staff, and team members to provide updates on project progress and address concerns promptly
Coordinate scheduling and mobilization planning across assigned projects
Manage documentation packages through job closeout
Own the job from mobilization to closeout with minimal supervision

Requirements

IICRC WRT and AMRT - required
3-plus years restoration experience across residential and commercial projects
Proven experience in healthcare or other sensitive occupied environments preferred
Strong knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation procedures
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely for various restoration tasks
Familiarity with construction processes related to repair and renovation
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety and conduct standards
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage documentation and project timelines
Valid Florida driver's license
Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen
Available for nights and weekends
Must be willing to obtain and maintain TB, MMR, and influenza vaccinations upon employment as required by healthcare facility assignments
