Full Job Description

Neuvio Architects, an award-winning Fort Lauderdale architecture and interior design firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager and Architect to join our design team on commercial, retail, hospitality, and corporate interior projects.

As a small studio, our Project Manager takes on a broad range of responsibilities: leading projects from proposal through construction administration, remaining directly involved in production work when needed, mentoring team members, and contributing to the development of the firm's culture. Candidates with a background rooted in an architecture or interior design office — one that includes genuine familiarity with how a project is designed, documented, and built — are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are not seeking a candidate whose primary background is construction management. We are seeking a candidate with direct experience in a design office environment: someone who understands construction documents, can engage substantively with technical and design details, and is equally capable of managing client relationships, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

· Lead projects across all phases — proposals, contract execution, design development, construction documents, and construction administration — while maintaining a consistent focus on client satisfaction, budget, schedule, and quality.

· Remain engaged in production work, including reviewing and contributing to drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring technical accuracy.

· Direct and mentor project teams, providing leadership that supports professional development.

· Serve as a client advocate, building relationships that support long-term client retention and referrals.

· Contribute to the development of the studio's culture, given the significant influence each team member has within a small office.

· Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial architecture or interior design firm.

· Minimum of 5 years of continuous experience as a project manager within such a firm.

· Practical knowledge of commercial, retail, hospitality, or corporate interiors project types, including both the management and technical/production aspects.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team, with a capacity for mentorship.

· Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Teams.

· Strong organizational skills, sound judgment under deadline pressure, and attention to detail.

· A genuine commitment to design excellence and client service.

· Licensure is not required; relevant experience and demonstrated judgment are the priority.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a professional but approachable manner. This individual should be equally comfortable leading a client presentation and reviewing a set of construction drawings, and should be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a project, a team, and a firm's culture, rather than by task management alone.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include:

· Performance-based annual bonuses of up to 20% of salary when company profit targets are met, along with quarterly and individual recognition bonuses.
