Full Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Acqua World Swim Academy is an indoor, heated, family-centered swim school in Doral. We provide a warm, organized, and positive environment for families. We’re looking for a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused team member to support our front desk and enrollment operations.

The position will be responsible for handling many tasks that may range from new business development, clerical duties and document management, and sales.

RESPONSABILITIES

Welcome families and provide excellent service in person and over the phone.
Respond to emails/messages with clarity, kindness, and professionalism.
Explain swim programs, levels, schedules, pricing, and policies.
Follow up with leads (call/text/email) and guide families through enrollment.
Fill available class spots and maintain updated class rosters.
Monitor automatic payments; identify failed transactions; contact families to update billing and reattempt charges.
Process schedule changes, makeups, and parent requests.
Maintain accurate parent/student information on file.
Keep reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming.
Assist with inventory and sales (goggles, uniforms, supplies, snacks).
Help coordinate and participate in academy activities or events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual English/Spanish fluent.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, patient, empathetic, and professional attitude — especially around families and children.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
Comfortable with multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable handling simple payment follow-ups and customer interactions.
CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain shortly after hiring).
35–40 hours per week.
Availability to work weekends only when needed.
Knowledge of certain computer programs such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred (Plus):

Experience in swim schools, gyms, after-school programs, childcare, or customer-facing roles.
Experience or interest in swim programs and swim instructor certification (it's a plus).

Compensation & Benefits

$18–$21 per hour (depending on experience).
Hourly, non-exempt position.
Paid Time Off (PTO).
Selected paid holidays.
Winter Break closure (two weeks, Dec–Jan) — employees may use PTO for pay during this period.
Employee discount for immediate family members enrolled in programs.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
