Miami Vision Therapy is a specialty optometric practice dedicated to helping children and adults overcome visual challenges that impact reading, learning, attention, sports performance, balance, and everyday life. We are passionate about helping our patients SEE and reach their full potential through personalized vision therapy programs and compassionate care.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Vision Therapist to join our growing team.
No prior vision therapy experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help the right individual develop into a skilled Vision Therapist. More important than experience is finding someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others succeed.
What Is Vision Therapy?
Vision therapy is a specialized treatment program that helps patients develop and improve visual skills that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses alone.
Vision therapy may help improve:
- Eye teaming and coordination
- Eye tracking and visual attention
- Focusing abilities
- Visual processing skills
- Eye-hand coordination
- Visual perception and visual memory
As a Vision Therapist, you will work one-on-one with patients using engaging and interactive activities designed to strengthen these skills. Many of our patients are children who struggle with reading, attention, learning, sports performance, or visual comfort. Others are adults recovering from concussion, brain injury, or visual dysfunction.
In simple terms, we help patients learn how to use their eyes and brain more effectively so they can perform better in school, work, sports, and daily life.
