AUDIT SENIOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

Local Coral Gables CPA firm is seeking a Senior Auditor. Great environment and great work-life balance. The Senior Auditor role will work under the supervision of experienced supervisor and manager professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability and desire to run client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing audits, reviews, and compilations and managing to budget. Supervise and train staff auditors and interns in audit and review process. Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to supervisors, managers, and partners. Develop and maintain great professional relationships with clients and staff. Prepare accurate and complete audit work papers that adequately supports audit observations and documents work performed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors in accounting, Masters in accounting or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam, preferred. 3+ years experience in public accounting. Knowledge of GAAP. CPA certification or in process of obtaining certification. Ability to supervise/lead projects, multi-task, think independently, and problem solve. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Strong organizational and time management skills. Travel to client locations (local)
