Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Foreign Trade Analyst with a focus on Logistics to support our import and export operations. This position will provide administrative, financial, and compliance support for international trade projects, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and adherence to customs regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of foreign trade processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

The analyst will also provide administrative and reporting support to ensure efficient and cost-effective global trade processes. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Support the Duty Drawback Project, including tax recovery management, documentation, and coordination with external advisors.
Assist with budget control and financial reporting for trade-related projects.
Prepare and review framework contracts with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers.
Provide analysis and support for procurement contracts, including negotiation terms.
Manage team travel logistics (pre-travel and post-travel arrangements).
Provide administrative and HR support, including schedules and team coordination.
Administer the Bonded Warehouse Project, ensuring compliance with customs authorizations and timely renewals.
Maintain control of bonded transit exports, according to warehouse type.
Support the insurance and claims process for transportation damages or losses, including documentation, evidence, and follow-up with administrators.
Assist in the processing of export licenses and other trade authorizations.
Support inventory control for customs documentation (e.g., Forms 7512, chemical licenses, advance declarations).
Provide budgetary support across different projects.
Act as on-call support when required.
Ensure compliance with Operational Safety, Occupational Health, Quality, and Environmental policies, reporting any risk conditions.
Support the team with new employee onboarding and IT/network access management.
Prepare and maintain accurate records related to portfolio management and regulatory reporting.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper bookkeeping and adherence to financial standards.
Assist in the development of reports that summarize investment performance and compliance with securities regulations.

Skills

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in data interpretation.
Financial acumen with the ability to apply financial concepts effectively in decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in foreign trade, customs administration, or related roles.
Knowledge of customs regulations, bonded warehouses, and duty drawback processes.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) – required.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with ERP systems.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge in Export Control
