Full Job Description

Role Context:

As the Content & Social Media Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in helping execute our creative content generation for organic and paid social media channels. Your responsibilities require strong creative acumen, attention to detail, time management, and a collaborative spirit, particularly as you work closely with the Director of eCommerce for guidance, mentorship, and leadership to pick up and evolve the brand voice + tone of key brands (Design Shop + 2 Art Deco Hotel Properties).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Scheduling + Curation:

Create new content using Ai technologies for all image and reel video grid selects (edited and cropped to meet platform and brand specification + sizes).
Collaboratively plan and curate content grids and story posts calendars, working closely with internal marketing directives (Post + Schedule Posts).
Ensure a visually cohesive and appealing layout for Instagram + Facebook channels
Get approval from the internal Director of eCommerce on all assets before publishing + future scheduling.

2. ⁠Image + Video Editing and Asset Management:

Edit and resize images and videos to meet social size specifications, ensuring they are of the highest quality before posting.
Manage all assets, ensuring they are properly sanitized and organized to uphold client brand standards.
Get approval from the internal Director of eCommerce on all assets before publishing.

⁠3. Instagram Story Creation:

Design and publish Instagram Stories based on internal marketing + seasonal concepts - incorporating innovative ideas that engage our audiences to interact + grow followers (Specifically with emphasis on Instagram + Facebook Platforms).
Ensure each Story is optimized for platform engagement and reflects the unique identity of the brand (s).
Get approval from the internal Director of eCommerce on all assets before publishing

4.⁠ ⁠Community Management:

Perform light community management, including thoughtfully responding to comments and messages, with the goal to foster engagement and a positive online community.
Identify top voices and influencers + share findings with CEO, Chief Digital Officer
Monitor engagement metrics data to quantify the impact of your content interactions and refine content approach as needed

5. Photography Coordination:

Ability to shoot with iphone on properties + Design Shop for new content opportunuties

Time Management and Efficiency:

Efficiently balance creative and operational tasks, prioritizing to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
Collaborate closely with the Director of eCommerce and internal team to ensure that all content and assets are completed and approved in a timely manner.

Tools/Experience Preferred:

Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator
Prior retail visual merchandising experience a plus
Prior ecommerce experience + social media experience a plus (but not required)
Positive, can-do attitude
Very organized, comfortable with Google Sheets (Excel + Word Docs)
Willing to learn + grow with the company
