Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & New Hire Support

Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure all documentation is complete

Conduct pre-employment screenings and reference checks
-
Lead orientation sessions and HR system training
-
Prepare new hire files and onboarding materials
Compliance & Documentation
-
Complete and maintain I-9s and ensure federal compliance
-
Track certifications and compliance documents (TWIC, etc.)
-
Maintain employee files, HRIS, and internal HR systems
-
Support compliance audits
-
Assist with Workers’ Compensation documentation and provider system updates
Benefits & Employee Support
-
Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
-
Respond to employee HR and benefits inquiries
-
Prepare HR letters (employment verification, visa, separation, etc.)
Payroll & Provider Coordination

Support accurate payroll documentation and benefit deductions
Recruitment & Training
-
Post job openings and manage candidates through the hiring process

Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
-
Support the preparation of materials for company training and development initiatives
Offboarding
-
Support exit interview process
-
Ensure offboarding documentation is completed and systems are updated
Administrative & HR Team Support

Assist with HR projects, employee engagement activities, and company events
-
Perform administrative tasks (scanning, filing, mailing, bank deposits)

Maintain HR trackers, reports, inventories, and recordkeeping
-
Provide backup support to HR team members during peak periods
Minimum Qualifications
-
Associate Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
-
1–2 years of experience in HR, administrative, or office support roles

Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience using HRIS and digital onboarding tools

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Experience with I-9 verification, benefits administration, or compliance documentation preferred
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

Experience in fast-paced, multi-site, or regulated environments
