Position: Legal Support Staff I (Attorney Assistant/Receptionist) - Part-Time Contractor
Job Summary: Our law firm is seeking candidates to handle client-facing duties as well as general office management tasks. Position/Job Qualifications: Ability to work in fast paced environment and perform phone answering, monitoring and control experience, scheduling and calendar maintenance, document drafting and proof reading, office file maintenance, marketing, email monitoring and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Bachelor’s degree preferred, but some college or current enrollment considered, with preference with legal related education. Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manners. Positive attitude and enhanced work ethic.

When our clients contact our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand for attorneys. The position will be 20 hours per week M-F from between 9:00 am-5 pm. A candidate for this job must be able to work Monday through Friday from either 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm. If you are not able to work these hours then please be advised that you will not be considered for this position. The position currently pays between $15.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience. The Legal Assistant/Receptionist will have the responsibility to answer phone, schedule appointments, greet clients and perform office duties. Candidate must speak Spanish and English. The position requires to make copies, scanning, write letters and draft documents. Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) skills required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but some college or current enrollment considered, with preference with legal related education. Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manners.
