Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Pediatrician to join work as a Well Newborn Hospitalist in Hollywood, FL

Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. Position Overview:

Full-time Schedule
Call: Schedule: 3 days per week + 2 Saturdays per 4 weeks
2 holidays per year
Well Newborn rounding at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL
- 44-bed nursery
- Averaging 15-25 newborns per day
Occasional Coverage at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines and Memorial Hospital Miramar
Minimum of 2 years experience as a practicing pediatrician is required

Licensure Renewals and Maintenance of Board Certification

Education, Licensure & Certification:

M.D. or D.O. degree required
Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
