Who We Are
At RV Life Saver, we are on a mission to be the solution to RV repair and maintenance needs in South Florida. From Miami to the Keys, we bring certified, professional, and trustworthy service right to where our customers are.
The key to our success is not the technical (though we’re good at that, too!); it’s the people. We care deeply about every single RVer we get the chance to help. Born from a family’s first national road trip and built on a belief that everyone should be able to get on —and stay on— the road, we take care of RVs with the same level of care as our own. We believe it is our privilege to be a source of knowledge and solutions for any RVer residing or traveling through South Florida.
The Role: Mobile RV Technician
This is more than a mobile technician job. In this role, you get to experience what it’s like to be seen as a lifesaver - delivering peace of mind to RVers in real time. As part of our mobile technician team, you’ll be on the road providing RVers with repairs, maintenance, emergency support, and preventative care.
To be successful in this role, you must love to work with your hands, be a problem-solver, build trusting relationships with others, and operate with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to service calls across South Florida and the Keys—bringing repairs, check‑ups, maintenance, and orientation services to RVs wherever they are.
- Diagnose and repair RV systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, chassis, generators, and more.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and orientations for new and seasoned RVers.
- Install and upgrade RV accessories like awnings, slide out toppers, and more.
- Keep accurate, digital and manual records of work done, parts used, and any follow‑up recommendations.
- Communicate with customers proactively, clearly and with care – explaining repair needs, next steps, and best practices. (Note: Our goal is not just to fix the problem for our customers, but to educate them about their RV along the way)
- Maintain inventory levels, help reorder supplies, and follow safety and environmental protocols.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly and proactively with RV Life Saver’s administrative support team.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a person with/who:
- Is available to work full time.
- Is hungry to grow and develop with a fast-growing company.
- RV technician experience is a plus, but we’re just as interested in candidates with a strong, hands-on mechanical or multi-trade background — for example, experience with plumbing, propane/gas systems, electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, appliance repair, roofing, or general mechanical repair.
- Comfortable working hands-on across multiple systems (plumbing, electrical, propane, appliances, structural) and able to diagnose problems methodically, even outside your core trade.
- Loves problem-solving and has technical savvy to find solutions not initially apparent.
- Is able to produce high-quality, timely work.
- Is detail-oriented and committed to using logs, spreadsheets, and communication tools to optimize the customers’ experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish fluency is a plus), with a strong ability to clearly explain issues and next steps to customers.
- Cares about customers and seeks to build a transparent, trusting, and highly professional relationship with each one.
- Flexibility and adaptability to weather conditions, confined spaces, and hands-on mobile work.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- RV certifications (eg. RVTI) are a plus, but not a must.
- Must own a set of tools (specialty tools provided when necessary)
Why You'll Love Working with Us
- A Chance for Rapid Growth: Those hired without an RV Technician Certification will begin at $20/hour. That salary can quickly grow up to $45/hour if you acquire your multi-level certification and accumulate experience in the field.
- On-the-Go Variety: No shop walls. Every day’s a new adventure, serving customers across South Florida. (Note: RV Life Saver can provide a company vehicle to use during work hours. RV Life Saver also provides gas reimbursements.)
- Real Impact: There is nothing that compares to the gratitude you get from RVers when you save the day and help them repair something that they thought was a lost cause.
- Supportive Culture: Join a growing team that values learning, growth, trust, and real-world RV passion. We also believe in work-life balance. RV Life Saver provides 15 business days of unpaid time off each year.
- Clear Communication: We respond fast, keep our customers updated on the status of their work, and deliver on our promises.
- Meaningful Mission: Be part of a company that is not afraid to be different and believe that it is possible to make maintenance and repairs a more transparent and painless process for RVers.
Ready to join the crew? Help us empower RVers with the freedom and confidence to explore without limits.
