Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and overseeing a wide range of civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help shape sustainable, efficient, and safe systems for water treatment, wastewater management, transportation, and land development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence and innovation. You will be responsible for ensuring project success from conception through completion while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using project management tools and techniques such as project scheduling software.
Prepare technical drawings and schematics utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD platforms to visualize design concepts clearly.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ArcGIS to analyze spatial data for land surveying, environmental impact assessments, and system design optimization.
Perform construction estimating to accurately forecast costs and resource requirements for various civil projects.
Manage construction inspection processes to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical engineers, mechanical engineers, water treatment specialists, and system designers to develop comprehensive solutions.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for project proposals, progress updates, and regulatory submissions.
Use specialized software such as HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Centers River Analysis System), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, Hydraulics modeling tools, and Water System Design programs to support analysis and design efforts.

Experience

Proven experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction management, project engineering or related fields.
Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Strong command of CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation for drafting and system schematics creation.
Familiarity with GIS platforms like ArcGIS for spatial analysis and land surveying applications.
Experience with water treatment systems, wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics modeling (HEC-RAS), stormwater management (SWMM), and geotechnical engineering principles.
Knowledge of construction estimating techniques combined with construction inspection expertise to ensure quality control throughout project phases.
Ability to produce clear technical writing for reports and documentation that communicate complex ideas effectively.
