Full Job Description

The Peplinski Group is family-serving families with the highest level of care and compassion. Our team of caregivers work together to provide our residents with the ability to reach their highest level of physical and social well-being. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is responsible for the direction and oversight of all billing and collection operations for multiple skilled nursing facilities. The purpose of this position is to manage the company's revenue cycle, billing and collections from Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and private pay sources. This role ensures cash flow optimization, reduces aging accounts and maintains compliance with state and federal regulations.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

Establish & maintain systems to collect, document, process and submit accurate, complete resident charges to appropriate payers.
Establish and maintain systems to ensure a valid paper trail for all resident charges from the provision of goods and services to receipt of reimbursement.
Establish and maintain systems to assure confidentiality of resident financial information.
Establish and maintain systems to collect, process, organize, file and maintain all records related to reimbursement in a financially sound manner.
Lead a team of Billing Specialists

Qualified Candidates will have:

An Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
Five years experience in Long Term Care billing preferred.
An understanding of Medicaid rules & regulations
Ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Strong and compassionate written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
Ability to proactively plan and prioritize duties and responsibilities of direct reports.
