Ferndale Collision & Auto Repair is a trusted, full-service automotive repair facility specializing in both mechanical and collision repairs. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service, quality workmanship, and a positive work environment. We are looking for a motivated, organized professional to join our team and help keep our office and shop running efficiently.

Position Summary

We're seeking a dependable Office Administrator who can also serve as a Mechanical Service Writer and Parts Coordinator. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced automotive environment.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Service Writing

Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
Create repair orders and document customer concerns.
Prepare estimates and explain recommended repairs.
Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
Assist with vehicle check-in and delivery.

Parts Ordering

Order mechanical and collision repair parts.
Work with OEM, aftermarket, and recycled parts suppliers.
Verify pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
Receive and inspect incoming parts.
Process returns, warranty claims, and core returns.
Maintain organized parts inventory.

Office Administration

Manage repair orders and customer records.
Process invoices and customer payments.
Assist with insurance paperwork for collision repairs.
Maintain vendor relationships.
Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and general office duties.
Help maintain an organized and professional front office.

Qualifications

Previous automotive office, service writing, or parts experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable using computers and learning shop management software.
Valid driver's license .
