Full Job Description

Role Overview:

This position will support the Engineering Data Management team by processing technical information documents and CAD data, performing database entry and quality checks, managing engineering change requests, and supporting Toyota’s proprietary systems and processes.

The role will work closely with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure technical information and CAD data are accurately processed, approved, and released.

Key Responsibilities:

Process technical information documents and CAD data using established work instructions
Perform database entry, quality checks, and document/data release activities within proprietary Toyota systems
Interface with engineers and follow up on technical information returned for corrections
Process and manage Manufacturing and Supplier Engineering Change Requests
Process supplier submissions of technical information documents and CAD data
Support suppliers with approval drawing submissions
Administer the proprietary WARD data-sending system and investigate system errors
Coordinate with responsible departments to resolve errors and ensure timely completion
Troubleshoot process issues and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and delivery
Create training materials and job aids for specific activities
Provide proprietary system/process training and support to end users
Manage system user accounts and access rights
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Associate’s degree or technical degree preferred
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Basic understanding of vehicle structure at the component level preferred
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, and Internet Explorer
Ability to quickly learn proprietary systems and processes
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work flexible hours when required by workload
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

Engineering Data Management: 2 years (Required)
CAD data: 2 years (Required)
engineering change requests: 2 years (Required)
