Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organizations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in various accounting software and principles, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll, invoicing (A/R), paying vendors (A/P), reconciliations, and financial statement preparation, in compliance with GAAP standards. The position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain and manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
Prepare and review financial reports such as income statements, cash flow statements, and budgets
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and timeliness
Reconcile bank statements using accounting Quickbooks Online.
Process payroll accurately and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards in all accounting activities
Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping entries, and journal entries
Support budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning
Utilize technical accounting skills for complex account analysis and financial concepts understanding

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role with extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of GAAP
Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and payroll processing
Excellent skills in financial report writing, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, and budget management
Ability to handle 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and financial concept application
Prior experience working with various financial software platforms is highly desirable
Monthly preparation of owner statements and escrow balancing
Responsible for invoicing across company systems
Responsible for paying bills and keeping accurate records
Ensuring all payroll and state tax filings are syncing and filing correctly
Renewing licenses and LLC’s
Tracking insurance policies and premium due dates
Other office management tasks as needed

This position is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a comprehensive bookkeeping role that combines technical expertise with organizational excellence. This position has the potential to be partially remote after training. Consistent office time is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
