Duties

Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using piping techniques, fondant, and other decorating tools to create visually stunning products
Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation quality and freshness
Support food production activities by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling pastry components efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering strictly to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Handle food products safely during preparation, storage, and transportation to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while upholding high standards of quality and customer satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in pastry arts, baking, or culinary environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and food handling within a professional kitchen or bakery setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in a food production environment
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, knives, piping tools, and ovens
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
