We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term career in the piercing industry — not just a temporary position. Apprenticeship training requires a serious commitment, consistency, professionalism, and willingness to grow within our studio long-term.
This position begins as a piercing apprentice role with hands-on training in jewelry knowledge, client experience, sterilization, safety protocols, and professional piercing techniques. The apprenticeship period is expected to last approximately 6–12 months, depending on performance, growth, and completion of training milestones.
Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, we are seeking a commitment of approximately 12–24 months of employment as a professional piercer within our studio. Compensation will increase accordingly once promoted from apprentice to professional piercer.

Responsibilities
- Assist experienced piercers in performing body piercings while adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols
- Prepare piercing stations with sterilized tools and ensure all equipment meets health standards
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures, jewelry options, and safety precautions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following sanitation guidelines diligently
- Support store operations by managing inventory of jewelry and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and creating a welcoming environment
- Participate in ongoing training sessions covering tattooing basics, color theory, and illustration techniques relevant to body art
Qualifications
- Strong interest in jewelry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and confidently
- Basic knowledge of sanitation practices and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards rigorously
- Willingness to learn store management tasks including inventory control and customer relations
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable
- Prior experience in customer service or sales
