Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Site Manager for our Potage and Schoolcraft locations. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our soccer classes, providing support to coaches, training, and ensuring a positive experience for both kids and parents. This is an ideal role for someone who loves working with children, has strong leadership skills, and wants to be part of an exciting and growing program. This position requires a consistent, year-round schedule of Wednesdays (4:30 PM–7:30 PM), Tuesdays (5:00–8:00 PM), and Saturdays (9:30 AM–12:30 PM) with scheduled breaks on major holidays when classes are not held.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of soccer classes at the assigned location.
- Ensure classes start and end on time, managing any logistical challenges.
- Provide leadership and support to coaching staff, ensuring they have what they need to run successful classes.
- Act as the point of contact for parents, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage schedules, attendance, and class equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Communicate regularly with the Soccer Buddies leadership team about class updates, parent feedback, and site needs.
- Transportation of equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or in a sports/education environment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to create a welcoming and positive environment for both kids and parents.
- Basic knowledge of soccer is a plus, but a love for sports and kids is most important!
- CPR Certification
