Job Overview

Adept ABA is hiring compassionate and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide the highest-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. We specialize in play-based and natural environment ABA and trauma informed care that is grounded in the most up-to-date research and best practices. RBTs work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings under BCBA supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children, want to make a meaningful impact, and are motivated to build strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs
Accurately collect and document data
Support daily living skills (ADLs) and promote independence. This may include potty training.
Safely manage and respond to challenging behaviors.
Collaborate with supervising BCBA and clinical team
Participate in ongoing training and supervision meetings
Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding session activities (as directed by supervisor)

Compensation & Schedule for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

Hourly pay: $24-$28 (based on experience and certification)
Full-time: up to 40 hours per week
Schedule between the hours of 9-6 Monday-Friday

Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

Obtain RBT certification within 90 days (Adept ABA will guide and compensate for expenses)
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to pass background check
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professional, respectful, and responsible
Ability to follow clinical directions and work independently
Comfortable working on the floor, playing, and engaging with children
