Mar-Flex Waterproofing & Building Products

Tired of the physical grind but love the concrete industry?

You know that a dry basement is the foundation of a healthy home because you’ve been the one in the trenches making it happen. We are looking for a Concrete Specialist, Foundation Contractor, or Waterproofing Installer who is ready to hang up the tool belt and transition into a high-energy professional sales career. Territory consists of: NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, VT, and ME .

At Mar-Flex, we don’t need "slick" salespeople; we need experts who speak the language of the job site. If you understand poured walls, drainage boards, and the headaches of below-grade moisture, we will teach you the "sales" side of the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Be the Expert: Use your hands-on experience to consult with residential builders and foundation contractors. You aren't just "selling"—you’re solving their structural problems.
Job-Site Support: You’ll be right back where you’re comfortable—on the job site—providing technical guidance to ensure crews are installing our membrane systems and sealants perfectly.
Build a Network: Transition your existing industry relationships into a profitable territory. You’ll manage regional distributors and grow your footprint across the North East.
Teach the Trade: Lead "Lunch and Learns" and hands-on demos. You’ll be the person teaching architects and contractors how to specify the best systems for their builds.

Who You Are

The Concrete Pro: You have 3–5+ years of experience in concrete installation, foundation construction, or waterproofing. You know what "hydrostatic pressure" looks like in the real world.
Ready for a Career Pivot: You have a strong desire to transition into a professional sales role where your technical skills determine your paycheck.
Road Warrior: You love being on the move. You’ll spend about 50% of your time traveling across NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, VT, and ME to meet clients where the work happens.
Natural Communicator: You can explain complex technical specs to a guy on a pour just as easily as you can to a business owner.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience, specifically within building materials or construction chemicals.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with residential foundation construction, hydrostatic pressure challenges, or below-grade moisture management is highly preferred.
Road Warrior Mentality: Willingness to travel extensively across the North East territory to meet clients where they are—on the job site.
Communication: Ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear value propositions for both contractors and distributors.
Self-Starter: Proven track record of working independently and managing a large geographic territory with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
