Advanced Accounting Consultants, a growing public accounting firm in Middlefield, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team during tax season each year. This is a full-time seasonal position from January 1 through April 30, with the opportunity to return year after year. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Prepare individual and business tax returns.
Research tax laws and accounting issues to provide accurate, practical solutions.
Analyze financial information and identify tax planning opportunities.
Develop trusted relationships with clients through exceptional communication and service.
Gain an understanding of each client's business and industry to provide value beyond tax compliance.
Collaborate with partners and staff to ensure timely, high-quality client service.
Review financial information for accuracy and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture throughout tax season.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum of five years of public accounting tax experience.
Strong knowledge of individual and business tax preparation.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax/accounting software.
