Full Job Description

We are seeking an Auto body Estimator to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of technicians. This job requires interaction with insurance companies, body shop employees and customers. NON DRP EXPERIENCE is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Write solid, correct and complete estimates that meet insurance and customer standards
Over-see repairs all the way through from writing estimate, ordering parts, supervising repairs and delivering quality repairs
Coordinate the daily activities of the team
Delegate repair assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Excellent quality control on repairs and deliver completed repairs to satisfied customers
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years collision repair estimating experience
Proficiency using insurance driven estimating and management system, CCC One, Mitchell etc.
Must have a good understanding and working relationship with DRPs
Prior knowledge and experience with good automotive repair SOPs and enforce them to coordinate a seamless and effective workflow in shop
Needs to be a quick learner, highly motivated, focused & career-minded individual
Knowledge of autobody shop tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent work attendance
Superb people management skills
Must be able to transition shop to adhere to new automotive repair technology and insurance/estimating and management systems
I-Car certification a plus
