Full Job Description

Client Overview:
Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the logistics industry that is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk. This company has a great work environment, and they are looking for a candidate with general accounting knowledge and experience.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$26/hr - $28/hr

Position Overview:
The Accounting Clerk will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and the Accounting Management. Our client is ideally looking for someone who is well-versed in accounts receivable and has a background in general accounting. Experience with accounts receivable and advanced Excel is an absolute must.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

Accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities.
Preparing and posting entries; assisting with MEC.
Assisting with the coordination of financial audits.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
Processing Invoices.
General ledger and reconciliations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Clerk:

Experience with ERP systems and applicable Accounting/Financial software.
3 - 5 years of experience.
Analytical.
Experienced in Excel (pivot tables & v-lookups).
Experience with general Accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable is an absolute must.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus, but not a must.
