Job Title: General Procurement Expert 2

Location: Onsite or Hybrid- Verona, WI
Employment Type: 6 Month Contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Contract Duration: August – January

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking a Procurement & Materials Planner to support our client in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hybrid role is responsible for both purchasing/procurement activities and material planning to ensure uninterrupted production operations. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate purchases, coordinate material availability, monitor inventory levels, and support production schedules while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Procure raw materials, components, supplies, and services to support manufacturing operations.
Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and manage supplier relationships.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain material availability to support production schedules.
Coordinate supplier deliveries and resolve material shortages or delivery issues.
Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and planning data within ERP systems.
Assist with logistics planning and material handling activities.
Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and engineering teams to support production requirements.
Support supply chain planning initiatives by following established procedures and best practices.
Analyze inventory, demand, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase supply chain efficiency and operational performance.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of procurement and planning activities.
Perform a variety of non-routine assignments while exercising sound judgment and working independently.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3–5 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree OR a Master's degree with relevant experience.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, materials planning, inventory management, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating vendor contracts.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities while following established procedures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using SAP ERP or similar ERP systems.
Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, material planning, and supply chain processes.
Experience coordinating supplier performance and production schedules.
