Marketing & Sales Intern

Lynn Welding is looking for an ambitious, creative, and outgoing Marketing & Sales Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in both marketing and sales, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how brand awareness, customer relationships, and business development work together to drive growth.

We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to step outside their comfort zone. Someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives on solving problems, has an eye for design, and wants to see how marketing and sales work together to create an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

You'll work alongside our Sales & Marketing team on projects that directly contribute to company growth.

Marketing

Create engaging social media content, photography, and videos that showcase our people, projects, and culture.
Assist with website updates, SEO, email marketing campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
Design marketing materials including brochures, presentations, trade show displays, case studies, and capability sheets.
Help tell the story behind mission-critical aerospace and defense manufacturing through compelling content.

Sales & Business Development

Build relationships with customers through professional communication and follow-up.
Support lead generation, opportunity tracking, and customer engagement efforts using Salesforce CRM.
Assist with sales reporting, pipeline management, and market research.
Work alongside our sales team to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.

Events & Customer Experience

Help coordinate trade shows, customer visits, community events, and recruiting initiatives.
Assist with planning logistics, promotional materials, branded giveaways, and event marketing.
Help ensure every customer interaction reflects the Lynn Welding brand and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn CRM and ERP systems.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience creating social media content, short-form videos, or photography.
Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar creative tools.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
An interest in B2B marketing, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
A portfolio, social media account, or class projects that showcase your creativity.
