Full Job Description

Project MORE, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving the Poughkeepsie, New York community, providing reentry and support services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Our mission is to reduce recidivism and promote successful reintegration through structured programming, case management, and supportive services.

The Women’s Reporting Center (WRC) is a community-based alternative to incarceration program designed specifically for women. The program provides supervision, accountability, and support in a structured environment that empowers participants to build stable, self-sufficient lives.

Position Summary

The Case Manager is responsible for providing direct support and case management services to participants enrolled in the Women’s Reporting Center. This role includes facilitating evidence-based programming, including Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) (training provided), and helping participants address barriers related to employment, housing, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized service plans
Provide ongoing case management and supportive services
Facilitate or co-facilitate Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) groups (training provided)
Maintain accurate, timely documentation including case notes and reports
Monitor participant attendance, progress, and compliance with program requirements
Assist participants with employment readiness, housing referrals, and life skills development
Connect participants to community resources and services
Provide motivation, coaching, and support to encourage behavioral change
Respond to crises and support de-escalation as needed
Collaborate with probation, parole, courts, and community partners
Participate in team meetings and case conferences

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field
Experience working with justice-involved or at-risk populations preferred
Willingness to be trained in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in reentry or alternative-to-incarceration programs

Pay: $46,041.00 per year
