Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Frederick, MD. This role is vital in maintaining accurate scheduling for crews, financial records, managing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting administrative functions, within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization and accounting skills, proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Scheduling crews, maintaining accurate scheduling forecasts, and maintaining material inventory
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records
Must utilize Quickbooks accounting software
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation

Qualifications

Familiarity with scheduling multiple crews
Proficiency using Quickbooks Desktop accounting software is a MUST
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills

This position provides an essential role within our organization by ensuring proper scheduling of crews, precise financial management and supporting administrative operations. We seek a dedicated professional committed to accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of bookkeeping and administrative support.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
