Full Job Description

Are you interested in starting a career in the legal field? Sobo & Sobo is hiring! We are searching for Paralegals/ Legal Assistants to join our rapidly growing team in our Middletown, NY, office! We will train the right person, but passion for the legal field is a must.

Responsibilities:

Serve as point of contact for clients, providing information and obtaining information regarding case status and details, court dates, doctors' appointments, etc.
Provide overall support to attorneys.
Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
Drafting/reviewing of legal documents.
Investigate facts to assist with the negotiation of legal disputes.
Monitor/ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Record/store client information

Qualifications:

Familiarity with legal research.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented team player with a positive attitude.
