Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in managing daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and financial principles, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring smooth administrative processes within the organization.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audits.
Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.

Experience

Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably within an accounting, finance, and electrician environment.
Familiarity with financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, budgeting, and technical accounting.
Experience with public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
Strong proficiency in various financial software applications is essential for success in this role.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
