Full Job Description

Madison Medical Resort is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for our 124-bed facility in Odessa. This role focuses on short-term rehabilitation and long-term clinical care within a resort-style medical environment. We are looking for a clinician who prioritizes objective patient outcomes and maintains high standards for documentation and dysphagia management.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
Rate: $50-55/hr
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery.
Manage complex dysphagia cases and coordinate diet texture advancements with the culinary team.
Complete clinical documentation daily within the EMR system.
Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy teams to streamline discharge planning.
Provide direct education to residents and family members regarding care goals.

Qualifications

Licensure: Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience: Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Skills

Proficiency in bedside swallow evaluations.
Ability to manage a consistent full-time caseload independently.
Accurate and timely clinical documentation.
