Reporting to a Pharmacy Director with daily support from Clinical Pharmacy Managers, decentralized clinical pharmacists, and operations supervisors, the Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist will partner closely with friendly nurses and a diverse multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, respiratory therapy, case management, and social work. The Hospital Pharmacist’s responsibilities span order verification, kinetic dosing and monitoring, anticoagulation and antimicrobial stewardship, renal/hepatic adjustments, code response, TPN and pain management consults, therapeutic interchange, and direct rounding with specialty service lines.
