Full Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapist – Outpatient (5-10k Sign on Bonus)

Recover Physical Therapy is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for a therapist who enjoys building relationships with patients, wants to sharpen hands-on clinical skills, and is excited to be part of a fun, growing, team-oriented clinic.

At Recover Physical Therapy, you won’t just be clocking in and going through the motions. You’ll be part of a team that values learning, clinical reasoning, manual therapy, movement analysis, and patient-centered care.

You will have the opportunity to learn directly from a fellowship-trained physical therapist with advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and movement-based treatment. You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of orthopedic cases, sports injuries, post-operative rehab, balance training, manual therapy concepts, and modern rehab strategies.

This is a role for someone who wants to keep growing, keep learning, and have fun doing meaningful work.

What You’ll Do

You will provide skilled therapy services:

Treating orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, strength, and mobility patients
Carrying out individualized plans of care
Helping patients improve function, confidence, and quality of life
Communicating with supervising therapists and care teams
Documenting visits accurately and efficiently
Assisting with exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, patient education, and progression of care
Working as part of a supportive, energetic rehab team

Is licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Physical Therapist in Texas
Enjoys working with people and building patient relationships
Has strong communication skills
Is comfortable working in a clinical setting
Is motivated to improve clinically
Is organized and reliable
Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
Wants mentorship and professional development
Is willing to learn new treatment approaches and clinical reasoning strategies

Experience is helpful, but the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn are just as important.

Schedule

Schedule may vary based on clinic needs and home health visit availability. Full-time, part-time, or flexible options may be considered for the right candidate.

Requirements

Current Texas PT or PTA license, or ability to obtain one
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license

Ability to complete documentation in a timely manner
