Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage food production and safety standards, and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, uphold high-quality food standards, and maintain efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and management skills while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet quality standards.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, and motivating team members to achieve optimal performance.
Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels.
Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling practices to comply with health regulations.
Manage shift operations efficiently by coordinating tasks, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a high level of service excellence.
Ensure compliance with all food industry regulations, including food safety protocols and kitchen safety procedures.
Support catering events or banquet functions by overseeing food preparation and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or food service environment, preferably in fine dining or hospitality settings.
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control practices.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams as a chef or kitchen manager.
Experience in banquet service, catering operations, or restaurant management is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and coordinate effectively across departments.
