Position Overview:The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting new business opportunities across GEO PSI's portfolio of downhole monitoring and diagnostic technologies. Working closely with customers, operations teams, and technical specialists, this role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and promoting solutions that enhance well performance, production optimization, and reservoir monitoring.
The successful candidate will help expand GEO PSI's market presence by developing new accounts, supporting existing customers, preparing proposals, and contributing to sales growth within assigned territories. This position requires a combination of technical understanding, commercial awareness, and a customer-focused approach to deliver value-driven solutions to oil and gas operators.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in oilfield technology sales and business development, with exposure to one or more of the following areas:
- Permanent downhole gauges
- Quartz pressure and temperature gauges
- Reservoir surveillance technologies
- Production optimization solutions
- Well integrity monitoring
- Microseismic and fracture diagnostics
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify, develop, and support business opportunities from initial customer engagement through proposal development and contract award. Experience working with oil and gas operators, production engineers, and reservoir teams is considered an asset.

- Support the execution of sales plans and business development activities to drive revenue growth across GEO PSI's technology portfolio.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities with operators, service companies, and industry partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, including:

- Production Engineers
- Completions Engineers

- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, customer visits, industry events, and referrals.
- Conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations to communicate the value of GEO PSI's solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain regular customer contact and support sales activities throughout the business development cycle.
Market Development
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities within the energy sector.
- Support business development efforts in areas such as:
- Unconventional resource developments
- Enhanced oil recovery projects
- Geothermal applications
- Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)
- Hydrogen storage and energy transition projects
- Contribute market insights to support business growth initiatives.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers within assigned accounts and territories.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer objectives and identify opportunities where GEO PSI solutions can provide value.
- Build and maintain positive long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and technical teams to support customer opportunities.
- Provide customer and market feedback to assist with product and service improvements.
- Support the development of sales materials, case studies, and marketing content.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, technical seminars, and customer events.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in oilfield technology sales, business development, or account management.
- Demonstrated success selling downhole gauges, permanent monitoring systems, and reservoir surveillance solutions.
- Strong understanding of:
- Quartz pressure and temperature gauges
- Permanent downhole monitoring systems
- Well integrity and production surveillance applications
- Production optimization and artificial lift workflows
- Reservoir performance monitoring and analysis
- Pressure transient analysis and field development applications
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Experience supporting both conventional and unconventional oil and gas operations.
- Established relationships with operators, production engineers, reservoir engineers, and asset teams across North America.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify customer needs and develop value-based solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple business opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with permanent downhole gauge installations and monitoring programs.
- Existing network within the Permian Basin and other key North American oil and gas regions.
- Knowledge of production enhancement, reservoir management, and well performance optimization practices.
