Hale's Diesel & Auto Repair is looking for a highly organized, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Service Advisor / Parts Coordinator to help support our fast-paced repair shop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, managing parts, staying organized, and helping keep the shop running efficiently.

This role works closely with our Service Advisor, Technicians, Vendors, and Customers to ensure repairs move smoothly from estimate to completion.

Responsibilities

Assist Service Advisor with daily customer communication
Order, receive, verify, and return parts as needed
Track parts status and communicate delays to technicians and advisors
Assist with customer check-in/check-out
Maintain accurate repair order documentation
Follow up with customers regarding repair approvals and vehicle status
Assist with vendor communications
Help maintain inventory and shop supplies
Answer incoming phone calls professionally
Ensure repair orders are complete and accurate before vehicle delivery

Qualifications

Automotive or diesel repair experience preferred but not required
Parts experience preferred
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Professional appearance and attitude
Valid driver's license
