Overview

We are a locally owned and operated automotive service shop with one location and a second on the way. We are very team oriented and pride ourselves in great company culture.

This position is a flexible part-time position but does require in-office work.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves managing core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience with various financial software, and a passion for precision and organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization while developing your expertise in accounting, organization, and reporting.

Duties

Manage daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and record journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial transactions accurately.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and other financial systems to streamline bookkeeping processes.
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accurate reporting.
Generate detailed financial reports, including budgeting summaries and financial statement writing, to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, with a strong understanding of accounting systems and standards.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with payroll processing, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing is highly desirable.
