Timeline: Must be able to start in August 2026

Time Commitment:

-For part time, we highly recommend at least 2 weekdays availability for priority consideration, in addition to occasional Saturday availability.

- We request at least 1 year of commitment if hired.

- For college students, please specify your availability in the FALL 2026 + Spring 2027 (if applicable) Semester.

Who:

Olive Tree Pediatrics is looking for a friendly, team player and preferably Bilingual (English and Spanish) Pediatric Office Medical Assistant (Front and Back Office). This job is great for pre-health students who are looking for clinical experience and career Medical Assistants alike.

When:

Part time available now
Full time (Monday-Thursday + 2 Saturdays per month) available
Business Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm; Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm

Job Description:

Some overall job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Patient interaction: Taking patient vitals (heartrate, blood pressure, etc.), performing lab tests (Covid, Flu, etc.), taking a basic medical history, scribing, and helping the physician in requested duties.
Ability to translate between Spanish and English in a medical setting.
More advanced medical assistants may be allowed to administer vaccines and perform finger pricks for related tests if qualified.
Lab: Running lab tests and reporting results, helping in vaccine counts, preparing vaccines (if qualified).
Administrative: Assists in charting, documentation of procedures, scribing, preparing, giving, and collecting paperwork from patients, scoring patient questionnaires.
Taking phone calls as needed, sending referrals, uploading records.
Cleaning patient rooms after each visit.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Physician and senior staff; Helps fellow team members.

Growth Opportunities:

May take on additional leadership roles with experience (vaccination coordinator, staff coordinator, manager, etc.).
Pay raises based on experience and performance.

Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish and English) applicants are strongly preferred.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
CNA/CMA preferred.
HIPAA training and certification completion upon hiring.
Drivers license required.
Up to date immunizations.
Work experience preferred but not required (see below).
CPR training recommended.
Willing to commit for at least 6 months.

Job Levels and Pay

Starting pay based on prior experience.
Applicants with higher levels of training (certified phlebotomist, LPN, etc.) may be considered for a higher starting pay.
Pay raises based on experience and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $21.00 per hour
