Responsibilities

Respond promptly to user inquiries via help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira, providing clear and effective solutions.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Assist with computer management tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and peripherals.
Support network administration activities including configuring VPNs, firewalls, DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, LANs, and WAN connections.
Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
Help maintain IT infrastructure by supporting server environments like Microsoft Windows Server and Linux servers.
Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting network connectivity issues involving Cisco Meraki or other network devices.
Document issues and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow to ensure seamless follow-up.

Skills

Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic computer management tasks.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and mobile device support.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
