Full Job Description

Position Overview:

Nagel Precision is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support our sales and marketing efforts.

This role is responsible for helping to maintain our digital presence, creating marketing materials, supporting trade show preparation, managing social media content, and assisting with customer communications. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has strong graphic design and communication skills, and enjoys working in a technical manufacturing environment.

This position offers flexible part-time hours (approximately 15-20 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and product literature.
Develop and schedule content for the company's social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
Assist in updating and maintaining the company website with new products, news, and project information.
Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters.
Create graphics, photos, and short videos to showcase machines, projects, and company events.
Support trade show planning, logistics, promotional materials, and booth preparation.
Assist with photography and documentation of completed machinery and customer installations.
Maintain and organize marketing files, photos, videos, and branding assets.
Track marketing activities and assist with reporting on campaign performance.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop technical marketing content.
Ensure all marketing materials align with company branding standards.
Perform other administrative and marketing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

Experience managing business social media accounts.
Experience with website content management systems (WordPress or similar).
Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Photography and basic video editing experience.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B marketing.
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing analytics.
Creative thinking and problem-solving.
Strong graphic design and visual communication abilities.
Basic understanding of branding and digital marketing.
Ability to simplify technical information into customer-friendly marketing content.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
