Position: Guest Service Agent

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Location: In person (Milbank, SD)

As a Guest Service Agent, you’ll be a true team player, wearing a few different fun hats to keep our guests happy and our hotel running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Master the Front Desk & Phone Lines: Warmly greet in-person guests and answer incoming phone calls with a clear, welcoming tone—handling reservations, answering questions, and providing local recommendations.
Support the Beer & Wine Lounge: Assist in operating our guest lounge—welcoming visitors, serving beverages, maintaining a clean seating area, and providing a relaxed, hospitable atmosphere.
Assist with Laundry Services: Keep our linen supply stocked and fresh by running loads through washing/drying cycles, folding linens, and organizing storage areas during your shift.
Keep Things Clean & Bright: Maintain the lobby, front desk, lounge, and public areas with light cleaning, tidying, and restocking so our hotel always feels fresh and inviting.
Drive Guest Satisfaction: Assist guests with check-outs, billing inquiries, and special requests with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Strong Phone & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and a clear, professional phone manner.
Multi-Tasking & Team Spirit: Willingness to jump in where needed—whether that’s at the front desk, in the lounge, or assisting with laundry and tidying up.
Customer-Focused & Reliable: A genuine passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and comfort handling payment transactions.
Adaptable: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overnight shifts, and rotating weekends based on hotel needs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, type, handle laundry, and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
