About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join our production team, specializing in the operation of high-precision lathe and milling equipment. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality components for demanding industries by leveraging your technical expertise in machine operation and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

Execute production runs on 2-3 axis CNC horizontal lathes or 3-5 axis milling centers to meet strict manufacturing deadlines.
Interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Utilize G-code programming knowledge to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal output.
Perform rigorous quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision gages to verify dimensional accuracy.
Collaborate with shop floor personnel to streamline workflows and maintain a high standard of manufacturing excellence.
Maintain Fanuc control settings to ensure consistent machine operation and process efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a CNC machining environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in operating either CNC lathes or milling machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
Must meet U.S. Person status requirements.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to precision.

Preferred Skills

Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with Fanuc control systems and G-code editing.
Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
