Full Job Description

The General Manager / Operating Partner will lead the overall operation of Andrea’s Chophouse and work directly with ownership and the Executive Chef / Chef Partner.

This is an opportunity to establish the service culture, recruit the opening team and build the systems that will define Andrea’s guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall restaurant and front-of-house operations
Recruit, train and develop the opening management and service teams
Establish exceptional upscale hospitality standards
Build a strong hospitality-driven culture
Oversee managers, servers, bartenders, hosts and support staff
Work closely with the Executive Chef / Chef Partner
Develop relationships with regular guests and the local community
Personally manage important guest experiences and service recovery
Manage labor, scheduling and operating expenses
Monitor restaurant sales and profitability
Oversee beverage and wine operations
Maintain inventory and cost-control systems
Conduct pre-shift and management meetings
Maintain exceptional restaurant appearance and presentation
Ensure compliance with applicable health, liquor and employment regulations
Work directly with ownership on financial performance and strategic initiatives

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of restaurant management experience
General Manager, Managing Partner or senior management experience preferred
Upscale steakhouse, fine-dining or luxury hospitality background
High-volume restaurant experience
Strong financial and P&L management skills
Excellent understanding of labor and beverage costs
Strong wine, spirits and upscale bar knowledge
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain excellent employees
Strong guest-relations skills
New restaurant opening experience is highly desirable

Compensation

$90,000–$100,000 starting base salary

Plus a meaningful performance bonus opportunity based on restaurant sales, profitability, labor management, beverage performance, guest satisfaction and team retention.

Exceptional performers may also become eligible for long-term incentives and opportunities associated with future Andrea’s locations.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
