Marketing & Community Engagement Manager

Position Summary

OnTheFly Hospitality is seeking a creative, hands-on Marketing & Community Engagement Manager to lead marketing efforts across our restaurant concepts, including HangOverEasy, TrustHouse, and future brands.

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive guest traffic, increase brand awareness, strengthen community partnerships, and support store-level sales growth.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable behind a camera, designing social content, coordinating community events, building local relationships, and developing long-term marketing initiatives. This is a highly visible role that requires regular travel to restaurant locations and active involvement in store operations, events, and community outreach.

This position is not solely a social media role. We are looking for someone who can serve as the voice, advocate, and promoter of our brands while helping shape the future direction of our marketing efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Brand Development

Develop and maintain annual marketing plans for each restaurant concept and location
Create campaigns designed to increase guest frequency, traffic, and brand awareness
Identify opportunities for local marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement
Track marketing performance and provide regular reporting on campaign effectiveness
Recommend new initiatives and marketing channels based on industry trends and market conditions

Social Media & Content Creation

Manage social media platforms across all brands and locations
Create and maintain unique voices and content strategies for individual restaurants
Produce photography and short-form video content for social media, digital marketing, and promotional materials
Develop content calendars and coordinate promotions with operations teams
Monitor engagement and interact with guests online when appropriate

Graphic Design & Digital Media

Design promotional materials including:
Social media graphics
Event flyers
In-store signage
Menus
Email campaigns
Digital advertisements
Maintain brand standards across all concepts
Support website updates and basic web content management

Community Engagement

Build relationships with:
Universities
Local businesses
Chambers of commerce
Community organizations
Charitable groups
Tourism and visitor organizations
Coordinate grassroots marketing efforts within each market
Represent OnTheFly Hospitality at community events and networking functions
Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and partnerships

Events & Promotions

Assist in planning and executing restaurant events, grand openings, promotions, and community activations
Coordinate event logistics, setup, and teardown when needed
Work with operations teams to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives
Support fundraising nights, sponsorships, and community outreach programs

Email & Loyalty Marketing

Manage guest email marketing campaigns
Develop promotional calendars and guest communication strategies
Utilize loyalty and guest database platforms to increase retention and frequency
Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements

QualificationsRequired

3+ years of marketing experience
Strong photography and content creation skills
Experience managing social media platforms for a business or brand
Experience with digital marketing
Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred

Hospitality, restaurant, retail, tourism, or entertainment industry experience
Event planning experience
Email marketing experience
Basic website management experience
Video production and editing experience
Experience working with loyalty or CRM platforms

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
