About Wise Wealth

Wise Wealth LLC is an independent, multi-generational, family-owned financial advisory firm based in Southbury, Connecticut. We provide comprehensive, fee-based wealth management and financial planning for individuals and families, with a focus on lasting relationships, personalized guidance, and thoughtful planning across generations.

Our team-centered approach brings advisors and staff together to address each client's financial life as a whole. Our services include strategic financial planning, investment management, tax reduction strategies, estate and wealth transfer planning, employer-sponsored plans, business planning, and risk management.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our Southbury team and work closely with our lead advisors and client service team. The successful candidate must have already passed the Series 66, or both the Series 63 and Series 65, and be ready to contribute in a client-facing financial planning role. The Series 7 is a definite advantage but is not required.

This position is well suited for a driven financial professional who wants meaningful client interaction, broad exposure to wealth management, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with our firm. As Wise Wealth continues to expand, the right person will have significant opportunities to take on greater responsibility, deepen client relationships, and grow professionally alongside the firm. An existing book of business is not required.

What You'll Do

Support and participate in client and prospective-client meetings, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
Prepare, update, and help present comprehensive financial plans addressing retirement, investments, cash flow, taxes, estate planning, insurance, and other client goals.
Gather and analyze client information and prepare financial planning, portfolio, and meeting materials for advisor review.
Build trusted client relationships by responding to questions, coordinating next steps, and helping clients understand recommendations and account activity.
Coordinate with the firm's operations and client service team, as well as clients' tax and legal professionals, to keep planning and service needs moving forward.
Assist with account opening and maintenance, client records, required documentation, meeting notes, and workflow tracking while following all applicable compliance requirements.
Contribute to team initiatives and process improvements as the firm grows.
Assume increasing responsibility for select client relationships as experience and demonstrated capabilities grow.

What We're Looking For

Successful completion of the Series 66, or both the Series 63 and Series 65, before employment begins.
Bachelor's degree in finance, financial planning, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
A driven, forward-thinking approach and the initiative to identify opportunities, take ownership, and follow through.
A genuine desire to grow professionally, contribute to the firm's future, and build a long-term career in financial advising.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a warm and professional approach to clients.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Sound judgment, discretion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to acting in clients' best interests.
A collaborative mindset and interest in contributing across a close-knit team.

Preferred qualifications

Minimum of one to three years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, an RIA, or a broker-dealer environment.
Familiarity with financial planning, CRM, portfolio reporting, or account-management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting base salary of $90,000, with opportunities for future compensation increases upon completion of additional licensing and professional designations.
Eligibility for new-client and discretionary year-end bonuses based on individual and overall firm performance.
Benefits include health insurance premium reimbursement, a 401(k) with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, and one floating holiday each year.
