Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Mobile Gymnastics Coach to join the Gym Skills Cincinnati team to inspire and guide children and young athletes through engaging gymnastics activities across various locations such as schools, daycares, preschools, after school programs, and rec centers. This dynamic role involves delivering high-quality coaching sessions that promote physical development, confidence, and fun. As a Mobile Gymnastics Coach, you will bring your passion for sports, teaching, and child development to create a positive impact on every participant’s fitness journey. This paid position offers the opportunity to work in vibrant environments, fostering a love for movement and healthy living.

Duties

Effectively teach structured gymnastics, tumbling and ninja classes following Gym Skills’ curriculum, class management and safety guidelines.
Ensure student engagement, skill progression, and class structure.
Transport equipment to facilities via motor vehicle
Set up, maintain, and break down mobile gym equipment at school locations.
Keep a record of equipment used each week for curriculum
Communicate with facilities staff on logistics (e.g. location of the class, directions, scheduling, etc.)
Maintain positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students through proper spotting and risk management.
Track and document students skill progress
Provide clear communication and progress updates to parents and supervisors.
Clean mats/equipment
Maintain professional appearance and professional communication on and off site at mobile gym locations
Serve as a Role Model for Gym Skills: Uphold Gym Skills' core values and team culture in all interactions.
Contribute to the Growth of Gym Skills: Collaborate with the team to enhance program quality and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

Must be at least 17 years of age
Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children preferred
Gymnastics, cheer, or sports instruction experience (preferred but not required).
Strong classroom management and communication skills with kids, parents, staff, and schools.
Must be responsible, reliable, punctual, and highly energetic.
Must be creative and able to adjust and coordinate to various facility groups and settings
Ability to work independently and work well with others.
Ability to set up and transport gymnastics equipment (up to 30 pounds).
Must be physically able to spot children of various ages
Ability to travel between schools and transport equipment.
Must have a valid Driver’s License
CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
Background check and SafeSport Certification required (willing to obtain)
