Full Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· Work closely with Team Leaders and Management for process improvement.

· Communicate with customers and suppliers.

· Find new suppliers when needed.

· Qualify new equipment for new processes and improving existing ones.

· Implement changes to improve efficiency.

· Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies.

· Implement quality control systems to ensure product specifications.

· Any other tasks as required to fulfill Tri-V’s, values, and commitment to quality.

· Use SolidWorks to create drawings, and prints.

· Update and fix our automated systems.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

· Reports to: Manager

SCHEDULE, 48 Hr:

· Monday - Thursday; 6:00AM - 4:30PM

· Friday; 6:00AM - 2:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

Expected: A.A.S. or B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position. Experience and knowledge of SolidWorks.

Preferred: An in depth understanding of statistical processes to evaluate process capability. Previous molding experience. have a working knowledge of electrical components and automation.

Communication Skills:

· Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and Management.

· The ability to work well with others by effectively interacting, cooperating, collaborating, and managing conflicts with other people to complete tasks and achieve shared goals.

· Ability to do basic shop mathematical procedures.

Other:

· The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required, with reasonable accommodations.

· Must be able to work well with others in a team setting to get all assigned tasks completed in a timely manner with high-quality standards.

· Must be able to work in a hands-on environment.

· Fine motor skills.

· Demonstrate complete and consistent independence when completing every job task in a timely manner with excellent quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
