Job Summary

The Program Coordinator in the Office of Student Success & Engagement ( SSE ) is a key contributor to programs and initiatives that enhance student retention, progression, and experience. This person will provide logistical and operational support for the first- and second-year experience at the Eccles School, including undergraduate student success outreach initiatives, course-based experiential programming, and the Business Ambassador program. This position will primarily focus on the Business Skills & Experiences ( BSE ) functional area, but will also support SSE’s other programs and initiatives: Business Student Government, the Business Tutoring Center, business student organizations, student community & belonging initiatives, and the In a Pinch Basic Needs Initiative.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute BSE course-based programming, including Freshman First Fridays, sophomore case competition, and academic advisor visits for group Milestone Advising.
Support students enrolled in MGT 1000, 1005, 2015, 2025, and 3025, including coordinating accommodations, excusals, and alternate course completion plans.
Support undergraduate TAs for the aforementioned courses, including providing professional guidance and mentorship, receiving and directing escalations appropriately, and coordinating grading consistency.
Coordinate student success outreach initiatives, such as individualized support for disengaged students and tutoring referrals for students retaking key courses.
Provide logistical support for Business Ambassador program experiential learning opportunities such as company visits and business travel.
Provide logistical support for SSE programs and initiatives, such as tradition events, student professional development programming, and academic support programming.
Contribute, coordinate, or lead departmental projects, such as collaboration with campus partners, operational & process improvement, or metric tracking.
Deliver presentations to students, staff, and faculty.
Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
